SLOW FEEDERS

A Bowl With Ridges.

This slow feeder bowl for dogs supports digestion, prevents bloat, and encourages healthier eating habits.

Why We Reach for It: Both of our dogs are fast eaters. We alternate between air dried food and frozen raw patties. Slow feeders do as the name implies, slows down the eating process preventing bloat and other digestive issues. Each feeder is just under 12″ in diameter and is the right size for our 70lb and 90lb dogs. Bowls are made with a non-slip base and food safe materials, BPA, PVC and phthalate free. The purple one is one of the slowest levels.

Best Used: With any kind of food. We have used slow feeders with thawed raw frozen patties, air dried food and fresh veggies and meat. Dishwasher safe. Get a few to rotate through and always have a clean one to use.

Bully Sticks

Odor Free

These long-lasting beef bully sticks are natural dog chews that support calming routines and dental health.

Why We Reach for It: Yes, you read that right. There is a “mild” odor but nothing like some of the others on the market. I have two big time chewers, and the smell is very tolerable. 100% Brazilian Beef.

Best Used: After meal chews are a great way to wind down a bit before blasting out the door to burn off some energy. I always let the dogs rest after meals and a beef chew bully stick helps them relax. I have these in 6″ and 12″ sizes and use Amazon’s subscription service so I never run out. Monitor your dog’s chewing and discard small ends or better yet, use a Bully Stick Holder.

Bully Stick Holder

These are a must when using Bully Sticks. Don’t risk your dog choking on the small ends of a beef chew.

Bully Stick Holder

Bone Shaped

This bone-shaped bully stick holder keeps dogs safe by preventing choking and securing chews during use.

Why We Reach for It: Trying to watch the dog chew down to the very last end of a bully stick is something I don’t want to do. Nor do I want my dog to choke on the small end pieces. Use this Bully Stick Holder and problem solved. I have tried SEVERAL designs, and this one is simple to open and close and has proved to be the best thus far. It’s a great deal on Amazon and I have several in different colors for the dogs.

Best Used: Yenni rests his paws on the ends of the bone shape holder while he munches on the bully stick.

Flirt Pole Replacement Lures

The Best Lures

These squeaky flirt pole lures keep dog enrichment sessions exciting with easy swaps and durable play.

Why We Reach for It: Outward Hound makes a replacement lure for their poles. Furry, with a squeaker and a rattler and a string loop attachment, these lures are fantastic for my dogs. They don’t last very long, but they are often on sale and worth stocking up. They come in different animal designs, and what is available changes frequently. Image may be different than what is currently available, but they are all good.

Best Used: The lures come in different colors and styles, I switch them up during play to keep things interesting. Attach a 12″ length of paracord to the end of the lure and then attach it to the flirt pole. Fun times just got a power boost.

Flirt Pole

Zoomie Tool-Pocket Sized

This high-energy dog enrichment tool helps burn zoomies and redirect prey drive.

Why We Reach for It: A high-movement play tool for dogs who love to chase and tug. Much like a cat teaser, the flirt pole features a long, lightweight stick with a lure on a string—giving you just enough distance to keep your hands safe while your pup zigzags, pounces, and burns energy fast. Especially helpful for high-drive dogs who need focused engagement.

Best Used: In short bursts, 5–10 minutes at a time, to build drive, practice impulse control, and get those zoomies out when walks aren’t enough.
